Geography

At Stanton Road, we teach Geography that inspires a pupil's curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Through our cross-curricular approach to Geography, we learn about places, people, resources and natural and human environments. The children will learn various geographical skills in order to collect, analyse and communicate with a range of data gathered through experiences of fieldwork. Children will interpret a range of geographical information throughout their time at Stanton Road, including, maps, diagrams, globes, aerial photographs and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
